Only 10 hours old... and less than one pound...

No, I'm not talking about Suzi's baby (thank goodness)...

Rather I am talking about the sweetest little Chocolate Lab puppy. She was born yesterday!

Now I've seen and experienced a lot of things... but a never this. She was less than 10 hours old when we got to go see her and hold her.

Her mama, Lucky, had a rough start with her little babies (she suffocated the other puppy)... so our friends, Cassy and Garrett, were having to intervene.

Bryant was absolutely infatuated by the puppy. He wanted to hold her and love on her. He kept saying that he couldn't believe that our dog, Big Ole' Sweetie (also a chocolate lab), was ever that small.

Even I find it hard to believe that our 95 pound dog was ever smaller than a dollar bill..

Bryant and Krystel played house with the puppy. They wanted the puppy to be their "baby." They were so sweet with her. They held her so softly and sang her sweet lullabies.

I am happy to report that Lucky (the mama) is now successfully nursing her baby and everything is going great.
