Japan Comes to Boise

If you hadn't already guessed, we are sports enthusiasts.
We might not play all the sports... but we love watching them!
Over Spring Break, Zac scored us an invitation to watch a Youth Soccer Game that was
Japan vs. U.S.A.

This was cool for several reasons:

#1- I used to play Varsity Soccer in High School. I love soccer!

#2- I have a real affinity for Japan. We had a Japanese Exchange student who lived with us when I was in Elementary school. Then in college I had 3 roommates that were Japanese Exchange students! I love their culture!

#3- The U.S.A team was actually from Boise... so it was really cool. We even knew a girl on the team. She had been one of Zac's Teacher's Assistants a few years ago.

The thing that wasn't so cool was that it was Pouring (and I do mean POURING) down rain and only 35 degrees! It was so cold and wet that we had to stop at the store to buy hats, raincoats and umbrella's.

But in the end... even though it was cold... we all gave it a thumbs up.
