Baseball Fever has hit our house. Bryant is finally old enough to play his first organized sport. As many of you know, Bryant is athletically gifted. He's been agile and coordinated enough to play sports for 2 years... but four is the earliest age he could join a team. Of course Zac... being a football coach... would have preferred Bryant play football for his first sport, but he's mighty proud of his son and the way he plays baseball!
Bryant has been playing catcher and 3rd base. He thinks he's super cool. He's a great hitter and hit a tripple last game. He plays two games a week. And yes, they keep score. The kids are taught how to win and lose gracefully. So far though the kids dont' really seem to care about the score... they are all about the snacks after the game. Rice Krispy treats and Kool-Aid still rule!
I'll tell you what though, there is nothing cuter than a bunch of 4 & 5 year olds in their baseball uniforms.
