Bridal Shower Beauty

My friend Katie and I threw Suzi her first bridal shower. It was a small intimate group... but it gave us a good chance to get together friends who had heard about each other but never met. Since it was Cinco de Mayo we ate wonderful Mexican food and drank Margarita's. It wasn't long before the Margarita's took their toll on our party goers and the festivities began.

One of the activities we did was making Suzi a wedding dress out of toilet paper. We had two teams. Team #1 consisted of Tracey, Tasia and Leah. Tracey is a professional seamstress and crafter extraordinaire... so their dress for Suzi was very elaborate.

Group #2 was disgusted after seeing Team #1's wedding dress. They bitched and moaned that there was no way they could even compare to Team #1. So, they (Deonna, Amy, Katie and Alaina) decided to shake it up a bit and do something a little different. Of course the SEVERAL margarita's they had drank encouraged them to really "think out of the box." Here's what they came up with:

Yep, that's right... It was a risque lingerie inspired wedding dress. Let me assure you, it took several Margarita's for Suzi to be willing to strip down to her bra and panties for this dress. She looked really cute in it too!
