Anyway, not drinking lends itself to me being the designated driver whenever other people want to drink. My birthday was no exception. The drinking started with the Margarita's at Suzi's bridal shower and ended with Bloody Mary's in the wee morning hours (2:00 a.m. for a some and 4:30 a.m. for a few others). No... my friends and family are not alcoholics... they're just hard working mom's who never take any time for themselves to go out. Suzi's bridal shower and my birthday, coupled with everyone knowing there was a DD who could drive them home, gave all these lovely ladies an opportunity to let loose.
Being the only sober one is quite fun. It's easy to goad people into doing things they might not normally do. I got tongues wagging (literally) by the time we were ready to leave the Emerald Club and go to Karaoke.

Everyone was having a great time and being silly. We met some interesting people (to be described in Part 3) and took lots of silly pictures. I'm telling you... being the DD is great... you have great blackmail photo's like these by the end of the night!
